OPERATION PATRIOT '09

Fellow Cadets:

I received the following informational e-mail via winginfo. If you are interested, please talk to our Group Commander or our Public Affairs Officer for more information. I will have a sign-up sheet on hand at the upcoming meeting.

...
Commanders and Cadet Programs Officers please inform your squadron members:

If you have started planning what you are going to do this summer with CAP, consider Operation Patriot, 18-22 July 09 at Volk Field. The cost: free. The rewards: great! There are some restrictions:
  • S/M must have completed level 1 and Cadet protection. (You must have a current CAP ID.)
  • Cadets, because of the complexity of our participation, must hold the rank of C/SrA and be 14 years of age or older.

Do you enjoy working with the Air Force and the Army? Living on a military installation? How about play acting? Have you thought about working in the medical field or the possibility of flying in a helicopter? Join us in July.

I will start receiving CAPF-31. Do not skip any part of the form! I will not except any form that does not have squadron commander approval and parental permission (for cadets). The close out date for receiving them will be 1 July. Any received after that date will not be accepted as it is necessary to give the Air Force a head count for chow and billeting. Units may send them to me in bulk. [Unless otherwise notified, SPCS will send in bulk]

LtCol John P. CAP
Operation Patriot 09 POC
