Thousands of wreaths were laid today, simultaneously, all around the country in honor of our veterans. Our squadron had the honor of participating in this event, along with the Plover VFW, by placing wreaths at the Korean War Memorial in Plover. The Daughters of the American Revolution will be placing the wreaths on the graves of various war veterans from each of the wars in American history. Thank you to the cadets and senior members who were able to participate despite the harsh weather. Note the strong wind and snow in the pictures.
After the ceremony, some of us enjoyed hot chocolate together at IHOP.
